What is the difference between an LMS and a CMS? Can you use an LMS as a CMS for your website or blog?

  An LMS (Learning Management System) and a CMS (Content Management System) are two different types of software systems with different primary purposes. A CMS is a software application that is used to create, manage, and publish digital content, such as website pages, blog posts, and articles. A CMS allows you to create and edit content using a user-friendly interface, without requiring knowledge of programming or web development. An LMS, on the other hand, is a software application designed specifically for the management and delivery of online courses and training programs. An LMS allows you to create and manage courses, deliver course materials, track student progress, and assess student performance. While there may be some overlap in functionality between an LMS and a CMS, their primary purposes are quite different. An LMS is not designed to handle general content management tasks, and a CMS is not designed to deliver and manage online courses. It is possible to use an LMS as a CMS
